Bio: Brett was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona and has always been a major sports fiend, involving himself in the sports world since he could fully understand it and discuss it. He graduated high school in 2008 and from there has spent the past four years at Northern Arizona University, where he majors in journalism and minors in criminal justice. He is currently the senior sports reporter for The Lumberjack student newspaper, covering the football and men’s basketball teams and also writing in-depth features, columns and NAU sports news stories. He is also a stringer for Flagstaff’s local paper, the Arizona Daily Sun, covering local high school sports and NAU events. Brett enjoys writing for Couch Side Show because it allows him to boost his resume and to write about things outside of NAU sports, which can get quite depressing at times. Aside from writing and schoolwork, Brett considers himself a normal kid, frequently taking advantage of being over 21 years of age, hanging out with his friends and often taking time to just be alone.
